What God Means to Me -- Jim.

I surrendered my life to the God of The Holy Bible over some 47 years ago.  In all those years, I have never regretted that decision. Many times, I have not lived up to my commitment to Him, but He has always been faithful to me, keeping His promises and commitment to me.   In college, I received a degree in Biology and Chemistry, and that was where my faith was made stronger.  I studied everything from the unending universe (click here for a study I did on this topic) to the ultra-minuteness of the atom; a universe in and of itself. How fascinating was the study of Physiology in which I saw how excellently complex our bodies are made.  We are indeed the crown of God's Creation. Peg and I have been attending members of the First Reformed Church for the past 14 years.  Our attendance current runs between 400 - 500 during our worship service.  Peg is one of the pianists, a talent at which, I think, she is very adept. I’m a 2nd grade Sunday school teacher and have served as Elder some 7 years in the past. Many of us, in the church feel very strong that teaching our children and also our adults about the love of God and our service to Him is of top priority, especially in light of what is happening in the world around us. Our Church family is made up of good people, all dependent upon Jesus Christ for their eternal salvation. We would very much like to invite you to come and worship God with us.
